Keeping Up With Coop's Pearly Whites

I feel the need to share this with you, because it made me laugh out loud. (It doesn't take much, actually.) Anyway, there's an article in this month's issue of my HOA magazine on dental hygiene for dogs, written by a local vet technician. Apparently, February is National Pet Dental Health Month. Here are the highlights:

1. "You should brush your dog or cat's teeth at least two to three times a week[.]"
2. "Once you are able to build up to a two to three times weekly routine, on the reamining fourt to five days, you can [...] use oral rinses."
3. "Our strongest recommendation would be to brush your pet's teeth after every meal."

Uh-huh. I already told Andy that this can be on his ToDo list. I'm sure Cooper will sit as still as a statue each time.

The Golden Globes (According to Me)

Well, one post per month is PRETTY good, right? (I KNOW...not so much!) I'll go ahead and promise (again!) to do better. For now, it's awards season, and I want to give you my take on The Golden Globes, which were on NBC Sunday night.

Tracy Morgan's acceptance speech was my favorite! Ha!

Renee Zelwegger is irritating, and she looked a little bit heinous. (The sucky-face pout is out.)

I've heard that "Slumdog Millionaire" is very good, and I don't doubt that it is, but I still can't believe that it won SO MANY AWARDS. "Benjamin Button" is awesome! It should have won SOMETHING. Yes?

Why did Mickey Rourke not shower before attending one of the biggest awards shows of the year? Could his hair have been more greasy? Yuck. (Note: I was touched that he thanked his dogs.)

Could she BE more pretty? I don't think so.

A lot of tape is securing this dress.

Hands-down, she wins my vote for Most Stunning at The Golden Globes. Wow!

The Grammy's are next! Bring it!
