1. White
White is such a clean, crisp color. I got some new white pants (one size smaller than last year-whoot!) this summer. I also bought myself a white purse for my birthday in April. It's way cute. See?
2. Movies
I love going to the movies all year, but for some reason, summer movie-going is the best. Maybe it's the popcorn and fountain Coke, or the cranked-up AC contrasting with the heat outside. Or, it could be the Twizzler's ad Sour Patch Kids, and the increased number of "blockbuster" movie releases during summer months.
3. Music
It seems like the best, happiest, danciest (is that a word?) songs come out during the summer months. My current favorite songs are "I Kissed A Girl," "Disturbia," "All I Want To Do," and "Forever."
4. Ice cream
Those who know me best know that I love me some ice cream. Sherbet, yogurt, custard, store-bought, homemade, sandwich, cone, cup - whatever - I'll eat it up. My most recent obsession is with rainbow sherbet. Yum!
5. Flip flops
I LOVE flip flops! I own glittery ones, solid ones, patterned ones, flat ones, and wedged ones, and wear them for as long as I can get away with it. Once the first pair of boots go on, I know that summer is over, so I try to stretch it out as long as possible. (I also get lots of pedicures during the summer - something I also love.)
