Birthday Love

Stephanie
Kimberley

Today is a special day! I happen to have two friends whose birthday is June 30. So, this post is for them.

My wonderful friend, Stephanie, has been part of my life since we first met at Northside Junior High School in Roanoke, Va., in 1990. We were friends throughout high school, and even went to Virginia Tech together (with the same major, Communication Studies!). Around 2000, we started growing closer, and in the last two or three years, we've grown even closer. Stephanie and I share so many memories, including camping trips, weekends at Heather's grandad's cabin, Senior Week 1994 (Blue Banana!), college parties, Senior Bar Crawl at VT, lots o' weddings, Virginia Beach, spa weekends (and the special toilet!), Las Vegas, ski trips, lakehouse weekends, birthday celebrations, Carova Beach, and, of course, Europe 2008. Our inside jokes are endless! She is one of the most awesome, funny, and sincere people I know, and I'm very lucky to call her "friend."

Happy Birthday, Ms. Stephanie! (You look great for your age, too!) Love you!

Kim is one of my newest friends. We met two years ago when she joined our current company. She and I have a lot in common, from our HS experiences and our fondness for hip hop, to our love for cosmetics, cheap t-shirts, Mexican food, and handbags. (We even have a common friend, MaryJo!) Kim is a beautiful person, inside and out, and I'm happy she's one of my closest D.C. friends. I look forward to continuing to have the "best summer ever" with her, as we enjoy girls' nights out, catch some movies, and whatever else we plan.

Happy Birthday, Ms. Kim! (I STILL can't wait until you turn 30!) Big hugs!

I'm happy to celebrate these lovely ladies' birthdays today!

Love, Princess Cyndi
